hmmm
well i've kinda been trying out digital painting techniques! As most people know i spend max of four hours on a comic page, this lil beauty has taken me a fair few days haha. Trying to just up my technique and stuff. So i thought that i would go back and re-do some of my favourite peices, and this one is just a jem. Show how much i've improved in 2 years? The original version of this was done for Titan Comics at about the same time the film had came out in the UK, and whilst i did have a lot of hi-res reference i know i didnt get the look 100% accurate. Also the fact that it was aimed at kids meant it had to be quite bright and colourful. So on this version i wanted it as close to photo accurate as possible and to give it a nice painted look and generally surpass the orignal. So have i done it folks ?
